Wow, Canadians are on fire this week! 🔥 The Vancouver Canucks kicked off their season with a 5–1 win over the Calgary Flames 🏒💥 and the Toronto Blue Jays just clinched the ALDS series! ⚾🥳 That’s two big wins and yes, people will be partying hard! 🍻🎊

But a gentle reminder: have fun, but be safe! 🚦💡

• 💨 Slow down—don’t overindulge with alcohol.
• 🚗 No drinking and driving! This includes scooters 🛴 & electric bikes 🚲⚡
• 🚌 Be patient on buses and in lineups.
• 😡 Keep calm and avoid road rage, especially in rainy weather 🌧️.
• 🪖 Wear your helmet at all times! Remember our brain injury series 🧠💥

Speaking of helmets and safety, here’s a personal story… 🎨💜

Just a few days ago, I went out to get some purple hair dye 💇‍♀️💜. I decided to ride my bike up to Broadway—big mistake! 🚴‍♀️ Hills everywhere, and at one point I even took my helmet off. As I started riding again, I thought, "Whoa… not wearing my helmet!" 🫣 I quickly put it back on, but then I hit a curb and wiped out 😱. Thankfully, a kind man helped me, and I ended up with just a bruise 💪. But it was a HUGE reminder: listen to your inner voice, slow down, and stay safe!

So yes, celebrate the wins 🎉, cheer for our teams 📣, but let’s make sure no one spoils the fun by being careless. Helmets on 🪖, patience in traffic 🚌, and smiles all around! 😁💐
