Have you seen my painting?

In 2012, I donated my original oil painting “Carefree” to a Gateway Theatre fundraising event in Richmond, BC.

It was a 20 × 24-inch oil on canvas, painted by me, Tina Winterlik. I originally priced the painting at $400.

The Gateway Theatre fundraiser featured 100 original artworks donated by local artists. The event description said that ticket holders would choose an original artwork valued at $300 or more.

I recently found my old documentation and photograph of the painting—and now I am incredibly curious:

Where is “Carefree” today?

Did someone take it home?

Is it hanging in someone's living room?

Did it end up in storage?

Did it get passed on to someone else?

Or perhaps it is sitting somewhere in Richmond and its current owner has no idea who painted it.

I would LOVE to see my painting again.

If you recognize it, or know someone who may have received it at the Gateway Theatre fundraiser in 2012, please contact me.

I am even offering a little reward:

🎨 If we find “Carefree” and I am allowed to see it again, I will give the person who helps reconnect me with my painting one of my small original paintings as a thank-you.

I don't necessarily want the painting back.

I just want to see her again. ❤️

After all, artists put a little piece of themselves into their work. Twenty-four years later, I'd really love to know where this one ended up.
