We waste so much time, energy, electricity, gas… all because no one sweeps or takes leaves. Sure, it’s good exercise—but nooo, we have these stupid leaf blowers, and the leaves are still everywhere. 🌿🍂

Two days ago, I saw a city worker wandering around, looking at a paper. I said,
“Hey! Can I make a suggestion? There’s a ton of leaves nearby and they really need to be cleaned up or they’re going to cause problems!”

He was in his late 40s, got all snotty, and said:
“We aren’t leaf cleaners.” 😤

Then he asked, “What do you do?”

I said, “We run the great big hydrovac, cleaning sewers!” 💦

And I added, “Well that’s the point, duh!!” 😡

Then… he repeated me. Yep. The exact words.

I just looked at him and rode away SUPER annoyed. And the leaves? Still there. Still everywhere. 🌬️🍁

City workers in Vancouver… you get paid well, have cushy jobs 💰💺, vape, wander, and clearly don’t give a sh*t. Maybe try actually cleaning the leaves next time? 🍁✨
