Hola Amigos, Buenos Dias, How are you all this morning? I'm a little tired, I've been busy helping lots of people with videos and websites and it's a lot of fun but it's a lot of work too! It's a gorgeous day in Zipolite, the birds are squawking...well the parrot is...LOL!! 

I had a nice dinner last night at the 3 de Diciembre. It's lovely restaurant that serves delicious pizza and pie. I just helped them with a new website. Check it out!  http://3dediciembrezipolite.blogspot.mx/

I worked really fast on this one because we needed to tell everyone about the big celebration they are have on Monday. It's their 20th anniversary. I first met Nacho the owner back in 2001 when the big fire in Zipolite happened.

My room burned and my daughter's father's things(he had them in the street-he was moving) all burned and the fire burned all the way back and burned the restaurant. But they rebuild and it's as beautiful as ever.

It was really sad because he had a lot of art there, just as he does now. I always remember when I was leaving Zipolite in Sept of 2001 and I didn't have much cash and Nacho bought one of my paintings. I really appreciated because I know he didn't have much at the time himself.

So we are really looking forward to this SPECIAL event, he has been working so hard and he has a lot of wonderful things planned and I have been invited to take a bunch of photos so it will be exciting and I'll share them with you later. Stay Tuned!!

Funny we found the coconut today, because I just put up my photos from Rarotonga and Aitutaki on my PhotoZ Blog and then came across this Raro Website http://www.rarolens.com/p/other-subjects.html

On my blog I was mentioning if you want to see the "true" Polynesian Dancing
 then the Cook Islands are where you got to go. I didn't have a video camera back then so I really couldn't show people, but now here...here they have shared and you can all see how fantastic they are.

I would love to take my girl here for 6 months and learn how to dance and to drum like they do, it's so beautiful!

Watched a Great movie last night! "Step UP 2" !

Incredible dancing, Angel said over and over "I want to do that!" "I want to dance like that!" The finale is really amazing! You should definitely check it out!

(Warning there is a scene with violence but we just stop watching for that part.)

You can find the ending on Youtube, but don't spoil it for yourself, it's low res, and you really want to see this as clearly as possible and preferably on a larger screen, so rent it!. It really wicked dancing!!

Amongst all of the face painting, wish gardens and general clowning around, Arts Umbrella outreach students from Henderson Annex took part in a flash mob, which had festival-goers breaking out their cell phones and cameras to capture the magic of the impromptu performance. I love Flashmobs, lots of times they make me cry because they just make me `feel so good!`  There is just something about everyone coming together, and the dancing, it`s just really powerful, inspiring, AMAZING. 

This one is extra Special, read below.



http://www.IBelieveShesAmazing.com Kim MacGregor organized this flash mob of 200 dancers to launch the "feel good" movement, "I Believe She's Amazing" in honor of her friend Erika Heller who passed away May 28th, 2009 at 31 yrs. old...this is her living legacy.

The amazing choreographers and dancers pulled this together in just one-6 hr rehearsal the day before the shoot.

(The song is I Believe by Yolanda Adams, from the soundtrack to the movie Honey starring Jessica Alba.)

Alley'Oop Hoop Dance

The World of Alley’Oop

This is a performance I did for Hoop Convergence 2010 which highlights the fusion with Native Hoop Dance I have been working on. It was a performance like no other, as the audience was made up of hoopers, which was exciting and unnerving all in the same moment. It was great however to really show what I’m working on to people as into this art as I am. Big thanks to Terrance Littletent for all of his inspiration and teachings and to Julia Hartsell, for bringing the international community together.

He's Super Talented. My dreams are coming true. I always wanted to homeschool Angel and just have tutors that I know and trusted teach her. She's been doing dance(ballet & hip hop) and badminton and this is going to round things out so nicely. We want to go to Africa too!! and I really want to go to India, Angel really wants to go to China. We dream about seeing the world, and hearing music from around the world and seeing all the little children is so inspiring. Check out what Playing for Change is doing! They are AWESOME!!!
