Zipolita'z New Website
Hey everyone, how are you? I have been hard at work and I rebuilt my website finally.

Right now I have 2 ballerina paintings that would look lovely in a dancer's room, studio, or store.
I am also working hard on sales and so I will have lot of cool things to buy.

Support the We Love You Project!

In honor of my friend Macarldie. We worked on the Cruise Ships together. He hated it. He woke me up to how people treat people differently in regards to race. Until then I doubted it, being from Vancouver, I just never really experienced it like that, but I see it now in the the things that have been happening.
He was a wonderful musician, with a peaceful, gentle, funny way about him. He would go up top decks on the ship and practice his sax. You can find his music online. I miss him. He left to soon.

Truckload of #Motherlove heads to #Crosslake
Sending love and light to this Northern Ontario community. This tragic situation will spread if Canadians - especially those in Parliament do not address colonialism, climate change, poverty and disconnection of First Nations, Metis, Inuit and all indigenous people and the land they need to protect. In the meantime grassroots people are organizing and sending a truckload of love!!
The beautiful thing is people are reaching out.

In March, Pimicikamak Cree Nation, also known as Cross Lake, declared a state of emergency after the deaths of six people by suicide since December.
In response, a group of Ottawa business women who make up the Facebook group Ladies Who Lunch put out the call for donations. The group's founder, Catherine Landry, launched the #MotherLove hashtag just three weeks ago, and what has happened in that time has surprised even the veteran volunteer coordinator.

“One was prayer, two was musical instruments, three was sports equipment, four was messages of support and hope and five was ‘things to keep us busy,'” said Landry, who called the project #motherlove “because it’s the only thing that can heal a broken kid.
“You don’t need to be a mom to do this, you just have to have a really good heart and you’ve just got to put it out there … the #motherlove tag is really strong. Anybody can be #motherlove.”

Just had a chat with the Economic Development Officer of the Attawapiskat First Nation; who also happens to be the Manager of the Attawapiskat Development Corporation in charge of all telecommunication for the Nation.
I asked him how I and all of those involved in the #motherloveattawapiskat project could help his community both in the short term and in the long term. He was so grateful for my call.
He said that in the short term, anything to help keep the kids and teenagers keep busy before and after school would be great. He listed items like:
-Baseball bats, gloves and balls
-All types of balls and pumps to keep them inflated
-Skates
-Bikes
-Needlework supplies including beads
-Boardgames
-All types of school supplies
-Funding to setup after school programs, outdoor programs and healing circles
As for the long term, he asked that we keep sending our parliamentarians letters urging them to work with them in finding a sustainable longterm plan for their community.
Since he is the man in charge of telecommunications, he asked if it was okay to put ad on television tonight about my call and #motherlove; I said absolutely!
We will keep in touch and he very much looks forward to receiving Kindness Cards and Letters. He promises to distribute them first in the schools and then to the population at large.

Painting Wolf Demo #1 to #3 by Zipolita
Helloooooooooo!!
So for me, painting is art therapy. Some of you may know I was on the computer so much this last week, trying to prepare an application for something special I wanted. I finally submitted it. Now I need stress relief!!
So I got a new tripod (I have wanted one for a really long time) that can be mounted on almost anything and I rigged it to photograph my painting, so I can show my progress.
I goofed it though as the photos were not cropped exactly the same. I will do better tomorrow when I try to repeat this and every day that I paint so I can show you my progress.
Okay here I updated it. Just watch this and you will be up to date. Keep watching.

She sums it up perfectly, "as long as we support fossil fuels we will continue on the broken road we are on." Please help Support these ladies. Fight for the environment there and here. Save our Coast, our province and out country from these insane pipelines.
In this day and age...and after all the environmental disasters either man-made or weather related(global warning)(Calgary's , Colorado, Mexico flooding, fires all over, now the devastation in the Phillipines) this is not rocket science.
God did not intend for us to do this to the earth. We are not intended to live like this, that is why there is so much stress, sadness and poverty in the world. There are better ways and we must strive to live in harmony with the earth. Humans have done more damage in 200 years than ever before.
Will we become dinosaurs, we will be wiped out, we will do it ourselves by creating the havoc we have. Or will we stop RIGHT NOW and turn it around.
We have all the knowledge and technology to do it. We have to be united though, we have to stand together and support each other, we have to do it for ourselves, our families, our children and the children of the future.
We have to do it for all God's creations. Life is a miracle, no one has the right to destroy it in the way it's being done with pollution and environmental disasters(Fukushima)...especially for greed which is what the pipelines, nuclear energy and corporations are.
They are not about people or animals or the environment. They are about greed. So let's do what we can and stop this mess. Let's stand together hand in hand and say "That's enough!!"
The solutions are out there, let's focus on them and turn this world around!!
