🌺 Remembering Together – Remembrance Day 2025 🕊️
Today we pause to honor those who served, those who sacrificed, and those still affected by conflict around the world. From soldiers like my Great Uncle Jimmy, who fought in World War I yet lost his rights because he was Indigenous, to the ongoing struggles in Gaza, Ukraine, and here at home in Vancouver, where fentanyl and poverty take far too many lives, Remembrance Day reminds us to reflect with compassion. 💛
The Royal Canadian Air Force will conduct fly-pasts across Vancouver and communities in British Columbia — a sky-wide tribute to those we remember. ✈️ Even if you’re not at a ceremony, look to the sky.

✨ A Moment of Reflection
Step outside, reflect, and honor those who gave so much. Whether attending a ceremony, watching the fly-pasts, or simply wearing a poppy, every gesture helps us remember, and every act of compassion counts. 💛
I also think back to this summer, when by chance I captured a Snowbirds flight on video — right place, right time — a reminder that beauty and awe can still surprise us, even amidst chaos.
