Had an awesome time at the 38th Annual Pacific Rim Kite Festival in Vanier Park, Kitsilano in Vancouver BC today. Next year you should make a plan to go. Always alot of fun for everyone of all ages.
The Teddy Bear Drop is alway HUGE FUN!! They put the Teddy Bear way up
high on a Big Kite and then let him or her go...s/he is wearing a
parachute and a child is waiting below. The kids run and catch the bear
and get to keep it.
It's all graciously donated by the BC Kitefliers Assocation. You can visit their website here. http://bcka.bc.ca/38th-annual-pacific-rim-kite-festival/
