Looks like there's hope for change in Brazil...people spoke and the president is listening. Keep praying to help them.

Tonight in Brazil the people are rising up and speaking out. I've been asked to share this as the mainstream media is not covering it. Let's get the word out there and help the people of Brazil have a better future.

Another friend shared this:
A personal note: I'm following the events in Brazil with great interest. I love Brazil, I have family and friends there, and I am a big supporter of the Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT), which has pulled millions out of poverty and has made Brazil a major global player. However, one of the main reasons I no longer live there is because the cost of living became overwhelming. Brazil has one of the highest tax rates in the world, yet it is poorly administered. Services like public transportation cost as much as they do in North America or Europe and many basic products like food, clothing, etc. cost as much as 40% more than they do in the U.S. Yet the minimum wage is barely over U.S. $300 dollars a month, so there is a huge discrepancy between income and the cost of living. While Brazil's economy has grown astronomically on a macro level, the people are squeezed by rising inflation, outrageously high prices and poor infrastructure. My thoughts and hopes are with you, o povo brasileiro.
