Is the Truth About Canada’s International Student Scandal Being Suppressed?
In recent weeks, a massive scandal has come to light—up to 50,000 international students, including 20,000 from India, were admitted to Canada but never showed up for classes. Reports suggest that some of these students may have been part of a human trafficking network, while others were simply using student visas as a backdoor into the country.
Yet, despite the shocking scale of this issue, it has barely made a dent in mainstream Canadian media. Why?
What We Know So Far
Investigations from India's Enforcement Directorate (ED) and various news sources have uncovered that:
✔ Hundreds of Canadian colleges were involved, accepting international students who never attended school.
✔ Many students were funneled into human trafficking networks, crossing illegally into the U.S. instead of studying.
✔ The Canadian government knew this was happening but didn’t act fast enough.
✔ Tens of thousands of job seekers in Canada struggled this year—could it be because many jobs were quietly filled through this broken system?
Why Isn’t This Front-Page News?
Despite being reported by The Tribune (India) and covered in some capacity by the CBC, it’s nowhere near the top of Canada’s news cycle. Instead, we get distractions, softer stories, or vague coverage that doesn’t hold the government accountable.
Some possible reasons for media suppression:
📌 Government Cover-Up – If this scandal gets too big, Trudeau and his ministers will face serious backlash. This happened under their watch.
📌 Colleges & Universities Want Silence – International students bring in billions in tuition. If the public loses trust, their financial model collapses.
📌 Corporate Interests Control News – Many media outlets rely on advertising money from big businesses and don’t want to anger the government.
📌 They Don’t Want Us to Know the Job Market Was Rigged – Many of us have spent months or even years trying to get hired. Were the jobs quietly filled through this system?
The Real Impact: Our Struggle, Our Lives
While this scandal unfolded in the background, real Canadians suffered.
💔 How many people fell into depression because they were told there were “plenty of jobs” when there weren’t?
💔 How many people turned to fentanyl, opioids, or alcohol because they felt hopeless?
💔 How many died by suicide, convinced that their failure to find work was their fault—when in reality, the system was failing them?
Meanwhile, Pierre Poilievre, who has never struggled a day in his life, is talking about delaying pensions. And Justin Trudeau stood by while this unfolded.
What Needs to Happen Now
✅ A Full Independent Investigation – We need transparency on how this happened and who benefited.
✅ Lower the Pension Age to 60 – If thousands of jobs were handed away while Canadians were left struggling, we deserve financial security NOW.
✅ Universal Basic Income (UBI) – It’s time to recognize that the economy has changed, and people shouldn’t have to beg for survival.
✅ Hold Politicians & Schools Accountable – No more sweeping this under the rug. We demand answers.
Speak Up. Share the Truth. Demand Justice.
If mainstream media won’t do their job, we will. Share this post, talk about it, and let them know that Canadians are watching. We refuse to be ignored any longer.
