Eastern U.S Braces for Hurricane Sandy
The mayor of New York City ordered the mandatory evacuation of hundreds of thousands of residents as Hurricane Sandy roars towards the east coast of the U.S. and parts of Canada, bringing punishing winds, heavy rainfall and storm surges.
Forecasters said that because of giant waves and high tides made worse by a full moon, the metropolitan area of about 20 million people, could get hit with a 3.4-meter wall of water.
He also pleaded for neighbourliness: "In times like this, one of the things that Americans do is we pull together and we help out one another And so, there may be elderly populations in your area. Check on your neighbour, check on your friend. Make sure that they are prepared. If we do, then we're going to get through this storm just fine."

Saying prayers for everyone in Hurricane Sandy's path and all the people who have suffered her wrath.
I'm in Mexico I haven't been following it to much, but just found out my aunt's house is right in her path. Please God and all you angels protect everyone and everything in her path.
Prayer for Hurricanes
In the name of the all- powerful Creator
I invoke you, great Angel Zamiel,
As the Angel of Hurricanes,
To calm the fury of this terrible storm.
May you divert it from it's path from the most vulnerable places
to blow itself out where few can come to harm
I honor and thank you for hearing my prayer

Once your in a safe place perhaps you could meditate and we can all collectly meditate to push Sandy away. We CAN do this! Please stay safe and stay positive. It's going to be okay!
