We all know the environment is in trouble, there is terrible poverty and child labour, greedy corporations and so many things that are hurting Mother Earth and all her creations.

Many of us have been connecting to try and turn things around. One of the projects I have been following and trying to support is Four Years.Go. Out of this they are creating My Stand! The video explains it best but basically it's Facebook with a CAUSE!!

It's so logical right, if we all work together, we can make a huge difference. So let's do it! Let's get connected. This is how we will do it! Check it out!

Have you heard about My Stand!! Watch this Video, this is the future and we need your help!!   http://www.stayclassy.org/events/detail?eid=7898

Bill McKibben published a must-read op-ed in The Washington Post last month about the connection between climate change and recent extreme weather events. Now Stephen Thomson http://plomomedia.com/ has combined McKibben's words with striking footage of the events he writes about. The result is a chilling must-see video:

A link between climate change and Joplin tornadoes? Never!

An op-ed by Bill McKibben, author and founder of 350.org, narrated and illustrated by Stephen Thomson of Plomomedia.com

If this video left you with goosebumps, Good! I don't mean that in a bad way, I just mean that now you get it. I had goosebumps...it is awful and scary, but we don't have to live in Fear. We CAN'T, as in my other blogpost, we MUST chose LOVE over Fear.  http://tinawinterlik.blogspot.com/2011/05/2012-revolution-has-begun-lets-meditate.html

We CAN do something about this. Al Gore and so many experts have been telling us, WE HAVE THE SOLUTIONS!

The Issue is that we NEED TO APPLY THEM COLLECTIVELY!
and not tomorrow but RIGHT NOW!!

Maybe this is some kind of test...did you ever wonder...to see if mankind can pull together...that by working together as one we will be lifted to that higher level where life is peaceful, there is no hunger, poverty, hatred, war....

There is a step you can take RIGHT NOW!! A tiny step that will JOIN US. There is a movement happening called Four Years.Go. The Goal is to have a billion people signed up and engaged in working towards a

A Thriving, Just and Sustainable
Way of Life for All.

Four Years. Go
"Humanity is on an unsustainable path, headed in a direction that no one wants—and there is limited time to turn things around. At the same time, the solutions and technologies to address this crisis already exist. What is missing is the commitment and will to act. FOUR YEARS. GO. is about generating that will."

PLEASE ACT NOW & DECLARE YOUR COMMITMENT RIGHT NOW!!
