There are few times in history when it is SO important to use our voices......
THAT TIME IS NOW!!!
On Sunday, November 29th at 1:00 p.m. we have an opportunity to march for climate justice! Millions around the globe will be marching in solidarity with Paris to send a clear message:
OUR PLANET IS IN PERIL, her creatures are disappearing at an alarming rate, and the future of our children and grand-children is at risk.
The course of history can and HAS been changed by mass mobilizations of people.....let's make this our chance to speak for those that have no voice.
We see climate change as the local/global issue that unites us all and calls each of us to action.
With the events in Paris, all of us are aware that there are so many vulnerable people on the planet - attending a march is truly an expression of our humanity. When the most vulnerable on this earth are at risk, we are all at risk.
Many would like to try to silence us, but any attempts to stop the world wide movement for change will only make the rest of us step up, stand up, and speak even louder. Because we are one people, one planet, engaged in a fight to save everything we love.
Let's make this HUGE!!! Let's get our message out and be so LOUD, that our voices, combined with the millions of other voices around Mother Earth…. CANNOT be ignored!!
Please bring your children, bring your loved ones, bring your friends!
We have SO many reasons to celebrate our humanity and we have SO many reasons to believe we are the ones we have been waiting for!

Thousands of Mexicans have taken part in a march against drug-related violence. The four-day march culminated with some 20,000 people walking on Mexico City's Zocalo Square.

Well-known Mexican poet Javier Sicilia led protesters on their 80-kilometer (50-mile) journey, which began Thursday in the central city of Cuernavaca.
More than 65,000 people participated in Sunday's march, the state-run Notimex news agency reported, citing Mexico City police. Read more here
Speaking before a sea of demonstrators at the large plaza in the heart of the nation's capital Sunday afternoon, activists read a list of demands that they said were part of a "national pact." They gave government officials a deadline of June 10 to sign on to the deal. Read more here
Their proposed agreement included "demanding an end to the strategy of war," the removal of corruption from all three levels of government in less than six months, and the quick solving of several notable high-profile cases -- including the killing of Sicilia's son. Read more here
As demonstrators set out Thursday, Sicilia criticized Mexican President Felipe Calderon's crackdown on cartels, which began in December 2006. Since then, Mexican authorities estimate that more than 34,600 people have been killed in drug-related violence. Read more here

Demonstrators, many wearing white and walking in silence, held up placards that read “Not a single more death,” “Enough already” and “No more bloodshed.”
The march started Thursday about 45 miles from the capital in the tourist city of Cuernavaca, which has been rocked by drug-related violence and where in March suspected hitmen killed the son of writer Javier Sicilia, who is heading the march.
