Steve Jobs passed away today. It's really sad. It was just a sad day for me in general for other reasons and well now I am sure there is just a huge collective saddness being felt thru out the world. The news said that people were gathering outside Apple stores.
He was really an amazing person. I don't have anything by Apple, not a Ipad, Ipod or Iphone...I really wish I did, but I don't. That's the thing about this stuff, it makes you want it. It was so cool and revolutionary...so it's really sad that God has taken home this creative genius. Why? Why do people have to die...my child asks. I am at a loss for words. All I can say is that he's out of pain now, he obviously fought a long hard battle, you can see the toll it took on his body looking at his early photos comparing them to his latest.
I didn't know to much about Steve Jobs and so I was surprised when a few weeks ago I read how he was a big part of Pixar and that Toy Story came out of all that. We are HUGE TOY STORY FANS, we watched it over and over when my girl was younger. He really was an amazing guy and one of the things I love to hear most about him is, he didn't do it for the money. He did it because he loved it. A true artist.
Tonight I send out love and support to his family, his wife and 4 children, I'm sorry, I know what your going thru and I feel for you. May the angels support you and wrap their wings around you and comfort you thru your grief.
To Steve, rest in peace, you were amazing, AMAZING!! I wonder what geniuses do in heaven...tinker here and there. I hope you can send some heavenly magic this way.
Take care Steve and I hope we can have an Iphone, Ipad and Ipod one day!!
