Traveling is the best education. Of course researching and learning about the cultures & places you visit is very important. It definitely is life changing. I hope they get to experience it. Think butterfly effect...how might their life change your life...never know.
I hope they can go down to Mexico especially Chiapas, and Oaxaca. I can not help financially but I can share this. So you heard them ...Help them see the WORLD!! :D
There will be nine potential graduates from the Coast Tsimshian Academy, in the isolated northwestern B.C. village of Lax Kw'alaams, this June. To celebrate the milestone, the Grade 12 class is raising funds to go on an unforgettable grad trip to see what Canada has to offer.

The Women’s March Vancouver will run from 10 AM - 12 AM at Jack Poole Plaza on Saturday, January 21, 2017, on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. These territories were never ceded through treaty, war or surrender.
We will have music and speakers starting at 10 AM and will then march through prominant Vancouver streets and return back to Jack Poole Plaza for more music and speakers. Those unable to march are welcome to stay at the Plaza.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT. NO TICKET NEEDED. It's just a way for us to get an accurate attendance.
Sign language interpreters will be at the march.
We will mobilize as women and supporters of women to protect our rights and civil liberties.
We stand in solidarity with other women’s marches planned across the country and the world on January 21.WE WILL BE SEEN AND HEARD by the new administration.

Discovered something super cool on Blogger today, you can write in Aboriginal languages because it's got the characters. Isn't the awesome. Maybe it was there before but I just found this. I find this very interesting because I was reading last night about a course in the Squamish Language and I find that very interesting. I would like to learn Squamish.Sḵwx̱wú7mesh
