Here's my latest painting. I call it "Carefree!"  Named after that "carefree feeling of being a child."

Sorry for my lack of posts lately, I've been busy voluteering teaching computers and painting amongst being a full-time mom and all the other things that come with that. So busy busy busy. I love painting, helps center me and makes me chill.

So I hope to go hang this tomorrow in the evening. So if you pop into Bean Around the World  at 1945 Cornwall (cross street is Walnut ) on Saturday, it will be there to take a closer look. I hope you like it. This is my largest painting yet. Looking forward to doing more and bigger and then eventually colour.

It is that time of year again….  the most-well-attended art festival (at 15,000 strong!) starts in FOUR days.  The Eastside Culture Crawl (300+ artists opening up their studios to the public) begins Friday Nov 18th (5 to 10pm) and continues through Saturday and Sunday Nov 19th & 20th (11 am to 6 pm).

Want to go to an art opening? Not sure what to expect?

Excellent Tip
Weather Forecast:  The weather report for the Crawl weekend is unfortunately for rain which means you should bundle up, bring an umbrella, and pick at least some buildings that have a lot of artists in one place - like William Clark Studios!  Did you know that William Clark Studios (red dot in map below) is one of the three largest buildings in the Crawl?  So, come and visit me, stay out of the rain, and take in 23 artists in one place!
