Dani Barnes is a freelance professional wardrobe stylist and costumer based in Vancouver. Barnes is well regarded for her creative attention to detail when styling dancers and performers, which is a huge asset to her position as part of the Boo La La team. “An awesome addition to the staff, as Boo La La is not just a costume shop… Boo La La is about fashion, style and high-end clothes and accessories!” says Laurie Sluchinski, owner at Boo La La.

Barnes has worked on set with local artists such as Hot Hot Heat, Laurell Barker, Rosette Luve, Peter Breeze and Eric Solomon to name a few. She has always had a 'passion for fashion' and was quick to jump into the costuming industry with Boo La La as a perfect home base for her work. 'Outside the box' would be a great way to describe Barnes’ style. She is never content with creating replicas - every project gives her an opportunity to use her imagination to create a brand new look, perfectly suited for the individual client/overall mood of the project.
