Today TransCanada Coastal Gaslink workers trespassed in our territory and were evicted by Freda Huson. We have repeatedly said no to their projects and continue to protect our unceded lands from destruction.

The Unist'ot'en Camp is a non-violent occupation of Unceded Unist´ot´en territory. FPIC is conducted with visitors to show our complete jurisdiction
From their Facebook page

The camp is located at the shore of the Wedzin Kwah and mouth of the Gosnell Creek. These are all tributary to the the Skeena, Bulkley, and Babine Rivers. The proposed pipelines from Enbridge Northern Gateway and Pacific Trails both seek to cross the rivers at the exact point where the occupation cabin is built on the Unis’tot’en Territory of Talbits Kwah.
The Unist'ot'en (C’ihlts’ehkhyu / Big Frog Clan) is occupying and using our traditional territory, as it has for centuries. Our historical free prior and informed consent protocol is in place at the entrance of our territory as an expression of our jurisdiction and our inherent right to both give and refuse consent.
