#SaveTheForest- Canada's Great Bear Forest

It's makes me cry!  As I watched this beautiful video I cry because I am afraid that I will never experience this. That my child will not get to experience this precious gift that has been taken for granted by our government and sadly by many many people.

I was born and raised in BC, Canada. I have traveled and seen many wonderful places always saving BC for when I was older, for when my girl was older and we can go hiking and discover the beauty this gorgeous province holds.

The time is NOW! TIMING IS CRITICAL!
If we do not VOTE FOR CHANGE, if we do not STOP HARPER, we can kiss this all good-bye!

We CAN DO THIS! We CAN SAVE CANADA!!
Do what is right! #SaveOurForests #SaveOurCoasts #StopHarper

We Must Protect This!!

While drones may be getting a bad rap in some areas, to see something like this is fantastic. Makes me want one. Such beautiful places many people never get the opportunity too! They forget, forget what is at stake with pipelines, tankers, natural gas, mines and all the other things that could destroy this Super Natural BC.

Share this and let's stand united it to protect it!!!

It's so TRAGIC that the Cowichan River is Drying Up and could completely dry up by the end of the month unless they get a huge rainfall.  http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2012/10/07/bc-cowichan-salmon.html

The Cowichan Tribes have stopped fishing
 http://www.timescolonist.com/news/Drought+water+levels+river+force+Cowichan+Tribes+halt+salmon/7356170/story.html .

On Twitter I read that Volunteers are also trucking salmon up the river http://www.cfax1070.com/News/Top-Stories/Cowichan-River-too-dry-for-salmon-run-volunteers-t

My daughter pointed out, the bears are going to be very sad, not to mention many other creatures because there will be a lack of other animals in the forest because of the shortage of fish.  The Cowichan is a Gorgeous Green Rainforest with many  many animals depending on it, this truly is a huge environmental disaster and I hope people realize the seriousness of this situation, take responsibility, and take action quickly.

A Walk Along the Beautiful Cowichan River!
