Wow! This is amazing. I just love what he says about creativity, math, talent, spirituality. He really is brilliant. I really enjoyed this, it's 1hr long, but definitely worth. Below is his video on Changing the Educational Paradigms and it's also fabulous

Ken Robinson believes that everyone is born with extraordinary capability. So what happens to all that talent as we bump through life, getting by, but never realizing our true potential?

For most of us the problem isn’t that we aim too high and fail - it’s just the opposite - we aim too low and succeed.

We need to find that magic spot where our natural talent meets our personal passion. This means we need to know ourselves better. Whilst we content ourselves with doing what we’re competent at, but don’t truly love, we’ll never excel. And, according to Ken, finding purpose in our work is essentially to knowing who we really are.

Sir Ken Robinson is a leader in the development of creativity, innovation and human resources, working with governments and the world’s leading cultural organizations.

Born in Liverpool, he was Director of The Arts Project (1985-89), and is Emeritus Professor of Education at the University of Warwick. He was knighted in 2003 for his contribution to education and the arts. Recent publications include Out of Our Minds: Learning to be Creative (2001) and The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything (2009).

Do Schools Destroy Creativity?  YES. Some schools do. Some teachers do. That was my experience. I'm homeschooling my child but at some point she may have to or want to go to school. I can only pray that she doesn't have the experience so many people do.  I just Love this first video with Ken Robinson and what he says about the Beatles.

Here's my child after getting a time out on the first full day of grade one. 

We have been home schooling since then. 

Let me say there were many other factors on why we decided to homeschool, and she did do kindergarten and we enjoyed the first 2 of the 4 teachers she had that year. 

We do classes but they are not in a school setting.
