Can't We Just All Get Along!!

Hello World!

Today is my friend's 67th birthday!

He has this little book that we put funny little sayings in. As you get older, you seem to say these little things over and over... and that's why we thought, gee we should start writing these down.

Now one of the things my friend says...when I tell him about some very dark issue plaguing the world or he reads or hears some sad story...

"Can't we just all get along!"

And so with that, I thought it would be nice to share this.

This video starts at the beginning but if you want to hear the song click at 50minutes in the song or click this link  https://youtu.be/mRjjiOV003Q?t=50m

Doing it for Peace!!

Doing it for Peace!! How about you? What are you doing?

From Youtube -Uploaded on Jun 17, 2008
In 1969, a 14-year-old Beatle fanatic named Jerry Levitan snuck into John Lennon's hotel room in Toronto and convinced him to do an interview. 38 years later, Levitan, director Josh Raskin and illustrators James Braithwaite and Alex Kurina have collaborated to create an animated short film using the original interview recording as the soundtrack.

A spellbinding vessel for Lennon's boundless wit and timeless message

I Met the Walrus was nominated for the 2008 Academy Award for Animated Short and won the 2009 Emmy for 'New Approaches' (making it the first film to win an Emmy on behalf of the internet).
