Justin Trudeau- Tell Kinder Morgan to "FUDDLE DUDDLE!!"

Justin, you must realize what is happening in Standing Rock right now is insanity.
What if that was your little girl that just got her arm blown off. It could happen, one day your child or mine could feel the need to stand up and protect water just as I am right now.
https://tinawinterlik.blogspot.ca/2016/11/stop-war-crimes-at-standing-rock.html

You sir, are at a crossroad. A VERY VERY IMPORTANT crossroad in history. And you are going to make the right choice or the WRONG.

Ooops, Sorry! Update: I had the wrong clip here. Here, use this link, this is the crossroads part.
https://youtu.be/AKgo8SH8qAY?t=9m21s

otherwise watch the movie here and look for 9:21

Click this link, Listen what he says about crossroads...

"Someone like you, I am sorry, if you think you are at some crossroads, you are!!"

This is the whole movie, I can't find the clip..see link above

Don't make the wrong choice JUSTIN!

We have a bright future if you just go green and KEEP YOUR PROMISES.
REJECT THE KINDER MORGAN PIPELINE.
RESPECT and LISTEN to local community.  Do not trespass.
Do not do something that you will regret for the rest of your life.

We know the reality, the risks,

Do something GREAT!
DON'T LET some greedy corporate entity destroy our beautiful Salish Sea, our beautiful coast, our whales, possibly kill our families and children. Don't say it won't happen because as my mom always said, NEVER SAY NEVER!!

NO AMOUNT of money can bring back health or God forbid the lives of our children if their is an OIL SPILL DISASTER. And you see what they do, what ever fines you make the pay they don't care because they make so much more than that...they DO NOT CARE ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS!!

DO YOU? THAT IS THE QUESTION!!

What RIGHT do you have to MAKE that DECISION in our lives. YOU DON'T and it will become a STANDING ROCK if you do not STAND YOUR GROUND and REJECT THE PIPELINE! Where are your huevos??

#SaveMyCoast is a website created by Artist Tina Winterlik aka Zipolita and dedicated to preserving the beauty of Coastal British Columbia Canada and coasts everywhere by using art as a way to bring awareness and to PROTEST INJUSTICES AGAINST THE ENVIRONMENT. It's about Green! I vow to do everything I can to #SaveMyCoast http://savemycoast.blogspot.ca

From what I remember growing up, your dad was a pretty wild guy. I remember my dad didn't like him and there was all sorts of talk about your mom and the Rolling Stones. But I was just little, I really don't know what happened back then (I think you mom is really cool) but I do remember FUDDLE DUDDLE!!

Do you?
"
The fuddle duddle incident in Canadian political history occurred on February 16, 1971, when Prime Minister of Canada Pierre Trudeau was alleged to have spoken or at least mouthed unparliamentary language in the House of Commons, causing a minor scandal. Trudeau mentioned the words "fuddle duddle" in an ambiguous answer to questions about what he may or may not have said in Parliament.
In February 1971, opposition MPs accused Trudeau of having mouthed the words "fuck off" at them in the House of Commons. When pressed by television reporters on the matter, Trudeau would only freely admit having moved his lips, answering the question, "What were you thinking, when you moved your lips?" by rhetorically asking in return "What is the nature of your thoughts, gentlemen, when you say 'fuddle duddle' or something like that?" Thus, it remained unclear what Trudeau actually mouthed.
In a 2015 speech his son Justin Trudeau stated that his father "didn't actually just say 'fuddle duddle.'""

COME ON JUSTIN- DO IT!
TELL KINDER MORGAN TO FUDDLE DUDDLE!!

I'll do it first..."FUDDLE DUDDLE Kinder Morgan!!  "

See, easy, now you do it and SAVE THE LIVES OF MILLIONS!! Change the future!! KEEP us on a path to PEACE & GREEN & HARMONY!

Put our faith back in you.

Global Climate March-YVR- Get Your Friends & Family Together

LIST OF EVENTS http://peoplesclimateconvergence.org/events
https://www.facebook.com/vanclimatemarch15/?fref=photo

There are few times in history when it is SO important to use our voices......
THAT TIME IS NOW!!!

On Sunday, November 29th at 1:00 p.m. we have an opportunity to march for climate justice! Millions around the globe will be marching in solidarity with Paris to send a clear message:

OUR PLANET IS IN PERIL, her creatures are disappearing at an alarming rate, and the future of our children and grand-children is at risk.

The course of history can and HAS been changed by mass mobilizations of people.....let's make this our chance to speak for those that have no voice.

We see climate change as the local/global issue that unites us all and calls each of us to action.

With the events in Paris, all of us are aware that there are so many vulnerable people on the planet - attending a march is truly an expression of our humanity. When the most vulnerable on this earth are at risk, we are all at risk.

Many would like to try to silence us, but any attempts to stop the world wide movement for change will only make the rest of us step up, stand up, and speak even louder. Because we are one people, one planet, engaged in a fight to save everything we love.

Let's make this HUGE!!! Let's get our message out and be so LOUD, that our voices, combined with the millions of other voices around Mother Earth…. CANNOT be ignored!!

Please bring your children, bring your loved ones, bring your friends!

JOIN US - SUNDAY NOVEMBER 29th - 1:00 pm - Vancouver Art Gallery

WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP - PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT MARCH TO F/B FRIENDS, WORKMATES, CHURCHES, CLUBS - help them be part of a history changing movement!!! Thank you very much!!

This text below is copied from Tom Jackson's Facebook page- TRULY AN AMAZING PERSON!

"Penned the master of disaster, or minstrel with a message, it is music—his first love—that draws him to create change with the touch of a song, poem, musical or concert tour. He takes to the road annually with The Huron Carole Benefit Concert Series, marking 22 years of cross-Canada travel to raise awareness and funds for food banks and charitable organizations. Tom has recorded 15 albums—his latest release ‘Twas in the Moon of Wintertime—in support of The Huron Carole."

http://tomjackson.ca
"For a younger generation of television viewers, Tom is recognizable from his portrayal of Billy Twofeathers in Shining Time Station, and his guest role in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Yet, it is his six years of playing Chief Peter Kenidi in CBC’s North of 60 that still draws comments, letters, e-mails, and many hugs from longtime fans.

The series was an inspired view into the lives of a First Nation community, and Tom inadvertently became a role model through his involvement.

Taking the responsibility and possibility from that profile has led to extraordinary achievements in community service, professional development, and global change"
http://tomjackson.ca/
"Whether one links Tom to The Huron Carole, Singing for Supper or Swinging for Supper, the evidence of his earning and staying power in the fundraising circle is without question one of infamy for this country’s food banks.

When there’s trouble or trauma, Tom steps up with ideas to alleviate and compensate those devastated by floods, fires, drought, terrorism, youth suicide, homelessness, environmental disaster, and economic disadvantage.

His mantra of being in service to others is secured with his choice to engage if it’s good business, good for the world, and good for the soul. He can light up a room with his storytelling, endearing humour, and self-penned tunes. He can inspire, uplift and entertain 10 or 10,000, and the gifts he shares, he carries from his ancestry, his life, and his loves."

“You don’t have to change the whole world, you just have to change your world, and the rest will follow.” – Tom Jackson

I Love what Tom Jackson has done and what he says is so true...about "change your world and the rest will follow!'

Using song, art, creativity for PEACE is the strongest weapon we have. Let's unite our creative thoughts, voices, projects. Peace Protests! Peace Projects. Project Peace!! We got rid of Harper that way, we can so many amazing things if we work towards PEACE, together!

Stop Fossil Fuel Subsidies- PUT THE MONEY INTO GREEN PROJECTS

Canada’s fossil fuel industries are the recipients of $2.7 billion US ($3.6 billion CDN)  in handouts each year, despite a promise from all G20 nations, including Canada, to eliminate subsidies in 2009. WTF!!!

http://www.desmog.ca/2015/11/12/canada-subsidizes-fossil-fuel-industry-2-7-billion-every-year-where-does-money-go

Screenshot from Oil Change International.

“Axing $1.7 billion US in handouts to fossil fuel producers is a critical step that Canada needs to take towards tackling climate change, and it would be very welcome in the lead-up to major climate talks in Paris next month,” Alex Doukas, co-author of the report for Oil Change International, said.

Let's pray JUSTIN MAKES A STAND!

Paris attacks - COP21 and the war on terror

http://www.theecologist.org/News/news_analysis/2986288/paris_attacks_cop21_and_the_war_on_terror.html

"So, assuming - as seems probable at this stage - that the Paris outrage was carried out by or for ISIS, was it in any way motivated by a desire to scupper a strong climate agreement at COP21? And so maintain high demand for oil long into the future, together with a high oil price?

Let's just say that it could have been a factor, one of several, in the choice of target and of their timing. And of course ISIS was not necessarily acting entirely on its own. While not alleging direct collusion between ISIS and other oil producing nations and companies, it's not hard to see a coincidence of interests.

So if that is the case, or even if might be the case, there's an important message in it for us all. The effort to shrink the importance of fossil fuels in the global energy landscape - and oil in particular - just took on a whole new dimension."

Syrian Climate Injustice = Syrian Crisis/War

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJWbxUUi4ME

Published on Nov 11, 2015
Several studies have pointed to a link between climate change and the civil war in Syria, which started in 2011 and is still ongoing as of 2015. The direct causes of the conflict relate to popular discontent with the government. Yet the mishandling of a major drought in the preceding years likely fed into this discontent, and climate change increased the likelihood for such a drought.

We examine these dynamics by introducing the ECC Factbook -- a visual and interactive tool informing policy makers and the general public about conflicts with an environmental dimension.

For more detailed analyses on the background of the civil war in Syria, see here: https://library.ecc-platform.org/conf...

“The Spirit Bear is very special to us,” says filmmaker Jeff Turner. “We made our first documentary for the BBC about the Spirit Bear 25 years ago. We spent two years living on a remote coastal island with our toddler daughter Chelsea when we were just starting out in our career - it was one of the most amazing experiences we ever had with wild animals. We really wanted to go back to that part of the coast again and try to reconnect with these special animals that hold incredibly special memories for us, and we really wanted to do it with our now grown children – our work has truly become a family affair.” (read more here http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/episodes/spirit-bear-family)

The Leap Manifesto

A Call for a Canada Based on Caring for the Earth and One Another

"This leap must begin by respecting the inherent rights and title of the original caretakers of this land. Indigenous communities have been at the forefront of protecting rivers, coasts, forests and lands from out-of-control industrial activity. We can bolster this role, and reset our relationship, by fully implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples."

"We declare that “austerity” – which has systematically attacked low-carbon sectors like education and healthcare, while starving public transit and forcing reckless energy privatizations – is a fossilized form of thinking that has become a threat to life on earth."

"The money we need to pay for this great transformation is available — we just need the right policies to release it. Like an end to fossil fuel subsidies. Financial transaction taxes. Increased resource royalties. Higher income taxes on corporations and wealthy people. A progressive carbon tax. Cuts to military spending. All of these are based on a simple “polluter pays” principle and hold enormous promise."

Naomi Klein

Ta'Kaiya Blaney

Published on Nov 6, 2015- From Youtube
Ta'Kaiya Blaney and Naomi Klein sent an inspiring message about the growing power of the climate justice movement, and the need to ramp up action at a Vancouver Rally. Speaking and performing before an estimated 1,500 people, both expressed determination to build a movement powerful enough to push back the fossil fuel industry and create a more just society.

Klein said “We know that this new government is being bombarded by pressure from above, pressure from pipeline companies — which they’re way too close to — pressure from Bay Street, pressure from the oilpatch. These people want them to do nothing more than put a kinder, gentler face on Harper’s disastrous policies . . .What this government needs is powerful and relentless pressure from below”

The November 4th rally was organized by CUPE to focus attention on The Leap Manifesto, a climate justice document already signed by many unions and other organizations as well as tens of thousands of individuals. It took place on the same day as the Climate Welcome started in Ottawa to pressure the new federal government to freeze oil sands expansion.

It looks possible, even likely, that no political party will win a majority on October 19, leaving two possibilities: a minority or coalition government.
A cooperative government formed in the absence of a majority, may offer Canadians many advantages over the false majority it replaces.
Increased representation of Canadian interests in government can yield policies that benefit Canadians broadly. Historically, minority governments cooperating across party lines have given Canadians our national health care program, bilingualism and our pension plan.
This paper aims to combat myths around Canada’s democracy and suggest minority and coalition governments as legitimate and desirable alternatives.
