Arctic air and possible difficult travel conditions by early Tuesday.
The first Arctic outbreak of the season will bring Arctic air and
possible difficult travel conditions to the South Coast of British
Columbia late Monday night and early Tuesday. However, Whistler will
likely receive at least 15 cm of snow tonight through Monday before the
Arctic air arrives. Snowfall warnings may be required here.
The
Arctic air will arrive from the east, spilling out the coastal inlets
and valleys first, spreading west toward Vancouver Island on Tuesday. As
the leading edge of the coldest air of the season arrives, bursts of
snowflurries may rapidly reduce visibility. Local snowfalls of a few
centimetres are possible as the Arctic air arrives.
Windchill equivalent
temperatures between -10 and -15c are likely in areas exposed to
outflow winds for Tuesday night.
After the Arctic arrival, the
South Coast will settle into an extended period (4-6 days) of chilly but
otherwise weather-less winter days.
The public is advised to monitor future forecasts and warnings as warnings may be required or extended.

So you know...I have been thinking and if enough people were to wear little flags we would unite our lives with people even unconsciously and if enough people did it, it would be like a PEACE TRAIN OF LOVE barreling down the track, A MIGHTY LOCOMOTIVE of LOVE smashing through all hate, inequalities and injustices.

It started when this woman Ingrid Tamboline, decided to help give the people cleaning up and passing through the area damaged by the rioters, the opportunity for healing. Angel's Kindness flag- a Peace Sign with a heart - surrounded by hearts!
The fact that France went back in and bombed and Canada and the US, it makes me very ill and unhappy and I feel powerless. But I do have power, we all do. Peace starts with YOU!!
So my idea was born the other night when I got this idea to make little PEACE PRAYER FLAGS and just make a garland for my Christmas tree but somehow the idea has morphed into this fabulous idea of sharing LOVE and PEACE with EVERYONE AND UNITING US with our little PEACE PRAYER FLAGS!!
I am a bit tired, I have been working on this non stop since the other day and I need to rest and write this all out properly and give it it's own site and all but right now this is what I have.
Here are 2 videos and I hope to go out on Saturday for an hour to see what peoples react to my idea is and how they perceive it all. I started an Esty site but I don't know if I am going to get it set up.

in handouts to fossil fuel producers is a critical step that Canada
needs to take towards tackling climate change, and it would be very
welcome in the lead-up to major climate talks in Paris next month,” Alex

Did you ever see this movie? Well I saw it quite a while back.

leadership. Pakistani President Zia and two top military aides are
skeptical of Wilson's courtesy call.
They complain about the inadequate
American support in opposing the Soviet Union,
with the sad result being that their country is being flooded with
Afghans fleeing the warfare. Zia persuades Charlie to visit a major
Pakistan-based Afghan refugee camp.
Charlie is deeply moved by the sprawling camp, the endless squalor, the
ceaseless misery, the children maimed by land mines, the constant
deaths and funerals, the struggle to find food, and, yet, amazingly, the
obvious determination by camp inhabitants to fight the Soviets.
Charlie leaves the refugee camp a changed man. Immediately meeting
with a regional CIA chief, Wilson is frustrated by the official's
insistence on a low-key approach against the Soviet occupation of
Afghanistan in order to avoid direct American implication. Charlie

Here's another interesting excerpt from Wikipedia:
George Crile III,
author of the book on which the film is based, wrote that the
mujahideen's victory in Afghanistan ultimately opened a power vacuum for
bin Laden: "By the end of 1993, in Afghanistan itself there were no
roads, no schools, just a destroyed country—and the United States was
washing its hands of any responsibility. It was in this vacuum that the
Taliban and Osama bin Laden would emerge as the dominant players. It is
ironic that a man who had almost nothing to do with the victory over the
Red Army, Osama bin Laden, would come to personify the power of the
jihad."
The saddest most disturbing part I found was at the end of the movie, where Charlie asks the US government to spend $1 million and go in a rebuild all the schools, so that that the children who had lost everything and hated the US would know that they had actually helped.
Now maybe that's all Hollywood or maybe it's the truth.
I believe children are forgotten in war and when you kill someone's parents and that child has no loving authority figure to guide them, especially if the area has been bombed to shit, than is it any wonder these children wouldn't grow up to be vengeful.
I have always said "Monsters make Monsters" meaning that if a child grows up beaten and abuse and hurt over and over they can not learn to love. They have no empathy. Empathy is a learned trait.
This is how wars start and continue. We must stop this from occurring over and over.
We must be peaceful, we must have social justice. We must address climate justice so that people have the opportunity to feed themselves and not be displaced.
We are coming to a crossroads, we have actually arrived in many ways. The choice will be ours. We must walk the talk and really be peacekeepers if we do not want our children to live through the horrors that many children and young adults think are just memories for old men at Remembrance day.
And keep in mind that nothing is fair in this world and while we try to take the higher road, there are going to obvious signs of inequalites in this world

And if you haven't really thought thing through and you just want to ignore it all, well then you should watch this movie. I watched it last night. I had to fast forward through the really graphic parts but it gives a good portrayal of what can happen to people.
People who are the same as you and I but get left behind with no one to help because of the their colour or nationality. This is based on a true story. If you have no idea what if feels like to be in the wrong place and have a war break out, then you should, because all of you that think that bombing some place is a good idea, then watch this.

If you don't know what is going on, and it's actually very complicated but this cartoon tells you how it all started.
Instead we need to be Lighthouses of Peace, we must demand social justice and that interconnects with climate justice so strongly, we can not have one with out the other.
We must peacefully demand and vote for our rights. We must practice peace at home and in our community and in our actions.

Rescue teams in southern Brazil raced to save victims and determine
casualties Friday morning, hours after a dam burst at a mining waste
site owned by two of the world’s largest mining companies, Vale and BHP
Billiton Ltd.

The collapsed dam in Mariana, Minas Gerais state,
unleashed a surge of thick, red toxic mud that devastated the nearby
village of Bento Rodrigues.

Reports of the death toll and injuries from the disaster, which occurred
Thursday afternoon, varied greatly. A spokesman for firefighters in the
rescue confirmed with Reuters
30 injuries and at least two deaths, but said the count was likely to
rise as more mudslides were possible and rescue efforts continue.
Mariana fire chief Adao Severino Junior told AFP news agency
more than 50 were injured in southeastern Minas Gerais state and at
least 17 people died. Several people were also reported missing. Read more here
