Vancouver's AMAZING Sunset last night!!

Well I was watching a movie and nearly missed the GORGEOUS sunset when my friend called me to have a look. I raced for my camera.

I snapped a few and then the battery went dead. Drat....I raced for the other camera and managed to get quite a few AMAZING sunset photos.

Feeling so blessed to have experienced it! I have a little video, I will try to put it up later!!

We Must Protect This!!

While drones may be getting a bad rap in some areas, to see something like this is fantastic. Makes me want one. Such beautiful places many people never get the opportunity too! They forget, forget what is at stake with pipelines, tankers, natural gas, mines and all the other things that could destroy this Super Natural BC.

Share this and let's stand united it to protect it!!!

Harper it's time to GO!!

Hey Hey, Ho Ho, #stevethecon IT'S TIME TO GO!!

We Do Not Like You, Steve The Con

I am not the author but I happily endorse this Dr. Suess-like  diddy.

I just watched the Affair of the Necklace last night. That is a really interesting movie. Have you seen it.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affair_of_the_Diamond_Necklace

"The Affair of the Diamond Necklace was an incident in the 1780s at the court of Louis XVI of France involving his wife, Queen Marie Antoinette. The reputation of the Queen, which was already tarnished by gossip, was ruined by the implication that she had participated in a crime to defraud the crown jewellers of the cost of a very expensive diamond necklace. The Affair was historically significant as one of the events that led to the French populace's disillusionment with the monarchy, which, among other causes, eventually culminated in the French Revolution."

It is very interesting what can topple a monarchy or government.  Watching the movie it was so strange to see them burning effigies of Marie Antoinette in the street.  I know alot of people might like to do that for someome esle but ART is a GREAT outlet.

And happily we have an internet with SOCIAL MEDIA that we can share. Thing is we really have to protect all our priveleges and get back a bunch of our rights.

But as I said "Art " can help!

As I said, I didn't write it, but I did add this little piece.

We do not like you
Steve the con
We would really
WISH that you
would be GONE!!!!

Love this poem above and this is very appropriate too!!

Dr.Suess knows best!!

Here's an old favourite!!

RISE UP!!

Found this on Facebook this morning, I LOVE IT!!

Michael Franti & Spearhead - Once A Day Music Video
Michael Franti and Spearhead - Once A Day (Music Video) ft. Sonna Rele

"Through music, dance and gratitude for this life we can all ‘Rise Up’!”

‘Once A Day’ is about unexpected moments in life. Some days we have unexpectedly beautiful moments and others that are unexpectedly challenging. Last year I had a really challenging moment when my son was diagnosed with a kidney disease called FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis).

We thought it would break our family apart, but moving through the initial tears, made us realize life is precious and that we need to hug, kiss and be close to each other every day and through that we could ‘rise up’ and face his illness together.

I hope that Once A Day brings inspiration to anyone in this world who is going through challenging times. Through music, dance and gratitude for this life we can all ‘Rise Up’!” - Michael Franti AVAILABLE NOW on iTunes: http://apple.co/1MSst4I

She hopes that the paintings of her daughter enjoying a lovely day playing at the beach will help raise awareness of what we stand to lose if there is a major spill. We must turn to alternative energies.

PSA- Be Harrison Aware- Respect All Water!

Water- you have to respect it. So many people do not understand how fast situations change.

Sadly it's true, it is only when a friend or loved one loses their life do you realize how dangerous water can be. RESPECT IT!

Be informed and be aware, not just of Harrison but of all water, lakes, rivers and oceans. It is powerful, mix it with wind or cold and how it affects you is radical.

RIP Gary and Daniel and to all their family and friend I send my greatest condolences and I am sad you had to make this video but it is very good of you to warn and remind everyone to not take their safety or anyone elses for granted. Thank you for doing that so I can share it with my loved ones and hopefully protect them and their friends.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gary Duong (25) and Daniel Reid (23) were both very strong swimmers. On one of the hottest days in 2015, they died in the cold waters of Harrison Lake, where they were swimming.

They were unaware of its dangerously cold temperatures, strong currents, and the unpredictable sudden winds which can turn a flat surface of water into a small craft warning in a matter of seconds.

Visitors to this lake must become aware of these risks. Gary and Daniel can't speak now so we are speaking for them in hopes that future deaths will be prevented on this very beautiful but deadly body of water.
