The Waldorf Hotel
@waldorfhotel 1489 Hastings, East Vancouver
After 63 years in business, the Waldorf Hotel has reopened as a multi-venue concept hotel.
On Thursday June 2, The Waldorf Hotel is proud to host The Fair. The Fair will bring together local and international commercial galleries, non-profit artist-run centers, independent project spaces and publishers to exhibit contemporary art. For the event, the hotel rooms of the Waldorf will be converted into galleries to show work from 17 local and international exhibitors. Here some quick previews of three of them: Season, 304 Days and Butcher Gallery.
Opening reception: Thursday, June 2 (7-11pm). This will also be the launch of the FIT by Waldorf artist-in-residence, Dida Zende.
Friday, June 3 (5-11pm)
Saturday, June 4 (1-5pm)
Closing reception: Saturday, June 4 (7-11pm)
Sunday, June 5 (11am-2pm)
