Here are some Videos that were posted on the Vancouver Park Board Youtube Channel.

The first one is really cool and shares stories about who build the Stanley Park Seawall. Do you know who James Cunningham & W.S Rawlings are. Well listen and learn. This is so cool! :) Love Videos, so educational, I love visuals. Watching old photos of the park and hearing the stories behind them is so touching.

The second & third videos are about the terrible storm in 2006 that did so much damage. I remember we had just moved to Nelson and it was so disturbing watching the news and hearing about it. It made me cry when it happened and then when everyone pitched in and helped donate so much money.

It really was AMAZING! I LOVE Stanley Park, Everyone does! It's nice to see that from the tragedy that actually some good things came from it, like a better understanding of the park and forest and ecology management. And Prospect Point was redeveloped and is supposed to be much more beautiful. I'll have to check it out.

Listen to this wonderful story about the men who built the seawall.

This 2005 video, Terri Clark of Vancouver Park Board highlights the evolutionary process that has developed the Stanley Park Seawall into the Vancouver fixture it is today.

The legacy that is Vancouver crown jewel, Stanley Park. This video clip highlights the restoration plan put into place after a bad storm destroyed much of the Vancouver landmark. Presented by local news anchor, Chris Gailus.
