Forget the Apology, It's Time for Her to Go!!

She's  Gordon Campbell, Harper & Donald Trump in one. Please someone help us wake up from this nightmare.

She does a terrible job representing the people of BC and she did not even win her seat, someone gave it to her. She needs to go. She promised families first but we've been last.

She was all for the pipeline and LNG and just does not care about the environment even though she was all smiles for the camera in Paris. She's two faced wearing the lovely Haida shawl and then saying horrible things about the Elders & Chiefs. She's so out of touch.

and all the people who signed it. It was beautifully done AND IT IS SO DISRESPECTFUL of Christy Clark to speak the rude hateful things she said.

The declaration extends an invitation to all First Nations, the governments of Canada and British Columbia, and all communities and citizens that depend on the health of Lelu Island, Flora and Agnew Banks and the Skeena River estuary, to join in defending this sacred and unique place and to protect it for all time.

Prince Rupert, BC: Lelu Island and Flora Bank, critical habitat for wild salmon at the mouth of the Skeena River in northwestern B.C., have been declared permanently protected from industrial development by an unprecedented coalition of First Nations leaders, local residents and federal and provincial politicians.

The signing of The Lelu Island Declaration presents a major obstacle to plans by Malaysian-owned oil and gas giant, Petronas, to develop a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant near Prince Rupert. The declaration also deals a huge blow to the provincial government’s stated aim to get major LNG plants under construction before next year’s provincial election.

"The Lelu Declaration sends a powerful message to Premier Clark and Prime Minister Trudeau,” said Hereditary Chief Yahaan of the Gitwilgyoots Tribe of the Lax Kw'alaams. “The support to stop this LNG project is overwhelming. Nations are united from the headwaters of the Skeena River to the ocean. Together, we will fight this to the end." https://intercontinentalcry.org/first-nations-mlas-and-mp-sign-declaration-for-permanent-protection-of-lelu-island-from-petronas-lng-project/

LNG plants do kill salmon, Russian scientists warn BC
Three Russian scientists and a noted conservationist speak from direct experience when they caution us about the effects these plants can have on wild salmon. The group hails from Sakhalin Island, which, according to a media release on a talk they’re giving today, is “the only place in the world that has an existing LNG facility operating in a wild salmon estuary.” Read More

HEY HEY, HO HO, CHRISTY CLARK HAS GOT TO GO!!

"Last week the BC Premier called a group of elders, chiefs, matriarchs and citizens a "ragtag group" who are the forces of no for LNG. These people are not ragtags, but rather a legitimate group of people with legitimate concerns over the location of an LNG plant. The BC Premier needs to show some respect for the citizens she purports to represent and apologize."

“If your goal was to do the most possible damage to wild salmon, when it came to where you want to site this terminal, this was it,” said Shannon McPhail, executive director of the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition.
“There is no place that would have more impact than where they sited this.”
