While yesterday we were enjoying the beautiful celebration of William and Kate, terrible things happened in Tuscaloosa, I am sending prayers for the people who lost their lives and for the ten-fold of people who loved those people and are scared, and hurt and trying to pick up the pieces and carry on.
Seeing the videos and destruction and thinking about the frightened children and their parents and the impact it will have on their lives just makes me feel like crying.
Nature is violent as she is calm. What can we learn, what have we learned. It's obvious the storms getting worse from the global warming, but is it also a combo of things, like people in growing numbers building their homes in this area known for tornados.
Like Wizard of OZ and Dorothy, people used to climb down into the root cellar, is their something we can learn from that.
In Mexico, my friend Gloria, so told me that after HURRICANE Pauline, that it was the round buildings that survived.
Can we change our structures, what can we do to cope with these disasters, and lessen their impact.
Today I Want to send an Angel to Alabama, to all those souls who have passed and all the frightened souls who remain. We love you! We are praying for you!!
